2. New York: City Supervisor Pleads Guilty to Public Corruption Charges
James Castaldo, a former high-ranking supervisor with the City of Mount Vernon Department of Public Works, pled guilty to accepting bribes from waste haulers. Full Story (pdf)
3. Washington Field Office: Foreign Service Officer Sentenced for Hate Crimes
W. Patrick Syring, a retired foreign service officer with the U.S. Department of State, was sentenced for threatening employees of the Arab American Institute. Full Story
4. Newark: Two Women Sentenced
Jamila Davis, aka Jamila Baker, and Brenda Rickard were sentenced to long federal prison terms for their roles in orchestrating a mortgage fraud scheme which resulted in $14 million in losses to several banks. Full Story (pdf)

Quantavious Greene and Elijah Chandler were sentenced for calling in a false bomb threat to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta. Full Story

The coordination of federal, state, and local law enforcement led to a 109 count indictment charging 27 members of the Asian Pride Street Gang. Full Story
